Are there any contradictions?
Since we will be penetrating the skin and injecting a foreign agent, we cannot assist pregnant women, breastfeeding individuals, those taking blood thinners, or those with skin conditions. Other cases are discussed during consultations.
What is the difference between advanced ISR and camouflage tattoo?
Advance ISR is utilized for addressing stretch marks and scars with indentation, protrusions, or texture. If the stretch mark or scar is palpable, we suggest advanced ISR treatment. This treatment aids in preparing the affected areas and rectifying the melanin in the stretch mark and scar to naturally correct the color.
On the other hand, camouflage tattooing is most effective for scars or stretch marks that are already smooth but have a lighter color compared to the surrounding skin. We match the skin tone using advanced scanning technology and apply customized color pigments to tattoo the area, blending it seamlessly.
what is the healing time for these procedures?
Marks will appear red and swollen right after, but they should heal fully within 4 to 8 weeks.
Does sunlight affect the pigment?
Items containing SPF are highly advised, especially during the summer and for pigmented skin. Use SPF 50 or higher on pigmented areas and shield them from direct sunlight as best as you can.
Will it get a tan? Yes and no
Advance ISR tans just like your natural skin, blending in seamlessly, but unfortunately, camouflage sites with tattooed pigment will not tan since ink cannot change color. However, they remain less noticeable compared to tanning over a stretch mark or scar.
What is a color patch test?
I provide color patch testing using custom ink matching skin tone, tattooing a small area to test pigmentation and healing, then saving the formula for future use.
